Kaiser Permanente of Georgia has been ranked among the top 30 health plans by national committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and U.S. News & World Report in their annual survey of commercial health care plans. Out of the total 239 plans, Kaiser Permanente has been ranked 27th nationally. In a magazine, Kaiser Permanente has been ranked 37th out of 150 plans in Medicare. Kaiser Permanente's performance in several other key areas also contributed to its high rankings: Cardiovascular Disease, Respiratory Health and cancer Screenings, child and Maternal Health.
President of Kaiser Foundation health plan, Peter Andruszkiewicz has improved on many other areas as well like KP Health Connect and electronic medical record system. KP Health connect helps its members like they can make appointments, refill prescriptions and use other programs to help its members stay healthy. Kaiser Permanente is a non-profit health plan, serving the health care needs of Atlanta metro area residents for more than 23 years. Kaiser Permanente provides health care services to more than 270,000 members through 15 medical facilities in a 28 country service area and a network of affiliated hospitals and physicians.
