term insurance plan cover a very short period usually and is specially
made for hospital expenses which include room costs, intensive care
costs, outpatient or inpatient charges, lab charges and drug rates.

of choosing your on doctor for the purpose, and will have a deductible

Short term plans do not cover pre existing conditions
and health factors like height and weight are not normally take in to
consideration. This coverage, temporary in nature usually acts like

in nature most short term insurance plan will last from 30 to 365 days.
The disadvantage of short term insurance is such that
they need pre certification for most of the medical services. Sometimes
you may be asked to pay the deductible more than once in some cases.

There is also the option of COBRA otherwise known
as Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reduction Act enacted in 1985 which allows

of COBRA coverage is over and you have not enclosed under any health
insurance policy.
