What students should do if health affects their studies during the term?

The mission of blue cross health insurance student includes the holistic development of students with affordable health insurance policies. Consistent with that objective, the University encourages students to take responsibility when health or personal problems affect their academic performance. If students miss any type of course work, they are urged to notify their professors at the time of the illness or problem. Together, they should try to agree on a solution. Therefore, it is in the students’ best interest to seek a solution as soon as possible.

What students should do if health concerns affect their ability to write their final exam?

In all cases of illness, a doctor's certificate explicitly covering inability to write the examination on the day of writing must be submitted to the Registrar before the end of the examination period. A student in this situation should contact the Registrar as soon as possible.
